Warmer Days Are Coming. Are You Making the Most of AIA Vitality?

With the days getting longer and summer not too far away, many of us are starting to spend a bit more time outside, get back into exercise, or simply make the most of the warmer evenings.

If you have AIA Vitality, it’s worth taking a few minutes to open the app and remind yourself what’s available.

There are quite a few benefits included with your membership, and some are easy to overlook.

A good time to think about your skin

More time outdoors usually means more time in the sun, whether that’s at the beach, playing sport, gardening or walking.

AIA Vitality members can receive 25% off their first MoleMap skin check service, limited to one service per membership year. You can also earn 1,000 Vitality points for attending.

The discount code is available through the Vitality app and can be used when booking with MoleMap.

It doesn’t replace the usual sun-smart habits, but it can be a useful reminder to get your skin checked, particularly heading into summer.

Planning to update your sports gear?

If you’re getting back into walking, running, gym sessions or weekend sport, it’s worth checking Vitality before buying new shoes or sportswear.

Members can normally access 25% off selected New Balance footwear, clothing and accessories.

There is also a limited-time 30% New Balance offer running from 5–18 October 2026.

If you use a fitness watch or activity tracker, there are savings available there too:

  • Garmin: Up to 25% off selected wearable devices.

  • Samsung: From 5–18 October 2026, 25% off the Galaxy S26 FE with bonus Buds3 FE, plus 35% off selected Galaxy Watches.

As always, it’s worth checking the app for the eligible products and any conditions before purchasing.

Gym benefits can add up

If you already go to the gym, or you’ve been thinking about getting back into a regular routine, the Vitality gym benefits are worth looking at.

Current benefits include:

  • Les Mills: Up to 50% savings through a 15% membership discount and 35% cashback on qualifying membership fees.

  • Jetts Fitness: Up to 50% savings through a 20% membership discount and 30% cashback on qualifying membership fees.

  • Snap Fitness: Your first six weeks free on a new 12-month membership.

The Les Mills offer applies to a standard 12-month Multi Club membership, while the Jetts offer applies to a new standard 12-month All Club membership.

To qualify for cashback, you will generally need to visit the gym on at least 24 different days per calendar quarter, so make sure you activate the benefit and understand the requirements.

Eligible gym visits can also earn Vitality points.

Heading to the movies?

If you’re looking for something to do with the family before the school holidays finish, Vitality also includes cinema discounts.

Members can access:

  • Up to 50% off HOYTS movie vouchers, with a maximum of six tickets per calendar month.

  • $14 EVENT Cinemas tickets, also limited to six per calendar month.

There are some session and voucher conditions, so check the app before booking.

Some of the other benefits you may not be using

There are plenty of Vitality benefits that don’t necessarily involve exercise.

For example:

  • Save up to 25% on eligible fresh fruit and vegetable purchases at Woolworths, on a maximum eligible spend of $60 per calendar month.

  • Receive a free Vitality Health Check at participating Unichem or Life Pharmacies.

  • Get 50% cashback on eligible fitness assessments through Snap Fitness or CEPNZ.

  • Access up to 80% off eligible Mission Nutrition consultations.

  • Receive 20–50% off endota gift cards, depending on your Vitality status.

  • Access free Groov wellbeing content and earn points through compatible sleep and meditation tracking.

  • Access free Allen Carr’s Easyway seminars for quitting smoking, vaping or alcohol.

  • Save 30% on eligible online will packages through Footprint.

Not every benefit will be useful to everyone, but there are usually one or two that can make the membership worthwhile.

Don’t forget the weekly rewards

One of the simplest parts of Vitality is the weekly activity target.

If you link a compatible activity tracker or app and meet your personalised weekly target, you can earn a $5 Active Reward each week, up to $260 per membership year.

Rewards can include things such as Airpoints, Everyday Rewards points, selected vouchers or charity donations.

You can also earn status rewards worth up to $300 per membership year as your Vitality points build.

Eligible AIA insurance policies also receive an initial 10% Vitality premium discount, with future adjustments linked to your Vitality status.

A quick check

If you already have Vitality, it may be worth asking yourself three simple questions:

  1. Have I activated my membership and linked my activity tracker or app?

  2. Am I checking Vitality before paying for things like sportswear, movies or a gym membership?

  3. Is there one benefit I could make use of this month?

You don’t need to use everything.

For some people, it might be a skin check. For others, it could simply be earning the weekly activity reward, saving on a gym membership or taking the family to the movies.
